Product Manager - Rotating Equipment

Job Description

Flowtec is actively searching for a Product Manager with industrial rotating equipment experience to gather requirements and provide the engineering team with well-defined product stewardship.

Responsibilities:

• Create sales presentations tailored for potential customers (end users) as well as engineering consultants
• Develop comprehensive Technical Sales Manuals encompassing engineering specifications, general arrangement drawings, application data sheets, and various marketing materials such as brochures, bulletins, and technical papers
• Provide pricing guidelines to the sales force in competitive situations and on larger projects
• Evaluate and oversee the quality of quotations and technical submittals generated by the Applications/Inside Sales teams
• Offers guidance and counsel to the production engineering team. Assumes accountability for ensuring the accuracy and thoroughness of order preparation, production engineering, approval submissions, purchase requisitions, quality assurance standards, and delivery schedules for significant projects
• Attend trade shows as required to support and grow the Business Unit

Requirements:

• 5+ years of sales experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment pumps and mixer applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering preferred
• Municipal or Wastewater experience preferred
• Application Engineer or Inside Sales Engineer background
